Terms
Last updated 22 October 2026
In short
- Your tasks are yours. We keep them only to run hayTask for you.
- Use hayTask fairly: don't harm it, or anyone with it.
- Payments aren't open yet, so nothing is charged.
- hayTask is young and will change. We tell you before anything big.
These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and hayTask, made by Alan Nguyen. By using the hayTask app or this site, you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use hayTask.
Your account
- You sign in with a code we email you, a passkey, Google or Apple.
- You must be at least 13, or the age your country sets for this, up to 16.
- Keep your devices and your email safe: whoever has them can get into your account. Tell us if you think someone has.
- An account is for one person.
Your tasks
What you write in hayTask is yours. You let us store it, copy it to your devices and handle it only to run hayTask for you, as our privacy policy says. You're responsible for what you write, and for having the right to.
AI
hayTask's AI is optional. What it suggests can be wrong: look it over before you add it, and don't rely on it for medical, legal or money advice. Nothing it suggests is saved until you add it.
Fair use
Don't:
- break the law with hayTask, or use it to harm anyone;
- try to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours, or disrupt hayTask;
- overload it, or copy it in bulk with bots;
- copy, sell or rent hayTask itself, or take it apart, except as the law allows.
Plans and payment
hayTask will have a free plan and a paid one, Pro. Payments aren't open yet, so nothing is charged. Before they open, we'll add to these terms how billing, renewal, cancelling and refunds work, and tell you.
hayTask itself
hayTask, its name, Haymo, its look and its code are ours. These terms let you use hayTask, not own it.
Changes, and ending
- hayTask is new and still changing: features may come, change or go.
- You can stop at any time, and delete your account in Settings.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and tell you why, unless the law or someone's safety stops us.
- If we ever close hayTask, we tell you at least 30 days before.
No promises, and limits
We work hard to keep hayTask running and your tasks safe, but we can't promise it will always be there, or free of mistakes: hayTask is provided "as is".
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or data, and our total liability to you is at most what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50, whichever is more.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
The law
The laws of Vietnam govern these terms. If the consumer law where you live lets you bring a claim at home, you still can.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, the date at the top changes. If a change matters, we tell you in the app before it applies. Using hayTask after that means you accept them.
